Curtis Eberhardt

Curtis Eberhardt was born in Texas, where he learned to love guacamole, tequila, and Mexican retablos. Trained as a painter, he came to New York City to study and exhibit his canvases, but became intrigued by photography: the cinematic quality of black & white and the painterly possibilities of color. His influences range from Guy Bourdin to Courbet and David Lynch. He resides in New York and shoots for numerous magazines in the US and abroad.
